Hair Dressing/ Cosmetology

 

 

 

Overview:
The scope of this curriculum encompasses a 1,500 hours. Upon completion and graduation, the student will be prepared to file for a temporary license. After receiving a temporary license the student will be allowed to seek employment. Soon after, the student will take the CTS State Board exam and then receive their permanent CTS Hairdressing / Cosmetology license.

• Hair and Scalp - Disorders and Diseases 

• Chemistry as applies to Cosmetology 

• Shampoos, Rinses, Conditioners and Treatments 

• Hair Cutting and Shaping 

• Hair Styling 

• Chemical Restructuring 

• Hair Color and Lightening 

• Nail Care and Procedures 

• Skin Care and Procedures 

• Hands on Practical 

• State Board Prep
